Cirrus Aircraft 70608-001 Turbocharger Oil Hose Kit — Check Valve Filter, SR22T, SB2X-79-10
Continental Motors SIL17-02 recommends adding a check valve filter to the turbocharger oil supply. Once it is installed, the existing oil hose interferes with the crossover tube heater.
Cirrus classes SB2X-79-10 as recommended, done at the same time as CMI SIL17-02. On affected aircraft, SB2X-79-04 (remote-mount oil pressure sensor, kit 70551) must be done first or at the same time.
What the kit does: Supplies a shorter right-angle oil hose (7.5 inch) that clears the crossover tube heater.
Note: For SR22T serials 0001 thru 1553 and 1558 complying with CMI SIL17-02. Refer to SB2X-79-10 to confirm applicability before ordering.
