Cirrus Aircraft 15168-001B Tubing — Nylon, 3/16 inch OD, Bulk (TKS Ice Protection)
Bulk nylon tubing for the TKS ice protection fluid system, 3/16 inch outside diameter. Cirrus sizes TKS tubing by outside diameter (maintenance manual 20-80). Sold per foot; order the length you need.
In Cirrus TKS installations the 3/16-inch lines are the small feed lines, for example proportioning unit to panels, couplers to panels and priming pump to tank return (IPC 30-05-01, 30-06-01, 30-07-01; e.g. 15177-101, 18690-106, 17350-106, 21942-111). Those formed tubes are listed under their own part numbers in the IPC.
Matching 3/16-inch compression fittings: 15164-001B aluminum nut, 15164-011B stainless nut, 15164-021B aluminum olive, 15164-031 stainless olive, 15164-091B O-ring, 15164-041B aluminum coupler.
TKS filters: Cirrus's maintenance manual (05-10) schedules replacement of the ice protection system filter every 1,200 hours or 2 years, whichever comes first. Filter elements: 26115-101 (Basic and Basic² systems; FIKI SR22 3403–3850 and SR22T 0001–0315) and 21986-203 (FIKI SR22 3851 and up, SR22T 0316 and up).
