Cirrus Aircraft 18278-002 Recognition Light / Ice Light — LED
LED replacement light assembly (price list description: LED, Replacement Light Assy), quantity 1 at each location. The IPC lists this part number in two uses: as the recognition light in the lights section (IPC 33-40-02) and as the ice light, which the IPC also shows in the ice protection section (IPC 30-80-01) and in the ice light installations of the lights section (IPC 33-40-03 for the SR20, IPC 33-40-04 for the SR22 and SR22T).
Fit, per the Cirrus Illustrated Parts Catalog:
- Recognition light (IPC 33-40-02): SR20 serials 2017 and up; SR22 serials 3417 and up, SR22T serials 0001 and up
- Ice light (IPC 30-80-01): SR22 serials 3403 and up, SR22T serials 0001 and up
- Ice light (IPC 33-40-04): SR22 serials 4435 and up, SR22T serials 1473 and up
- Ice light installation (IPC 33-40-03): SR20
The IPC lists the earlier recognition light 18278-001 (SR22 serials 2438 through 3416, SR20 serials 1886 through 2016) with the note "FOR SPARES USE P/N 18278-002".
