Cirrus Aircraft 70058-001 Transponder Antenna Ground Plane Kit — SR20/SR22, SB2X-34-05
Some production aircraft show intermittent transponder operation. Modifying the transponder antenna installation may improve its stability.
SB2X-34-05 is optional, at the owner's option.
What the kit does: Supplies a 4.5-inch ground plane ring and a grounding washer, fitted when the transponder antenna is reinstalled.
Which kit do I need: This kit is for SR20 serials 1005 thru 1361 and SR22 serials 0320 thru 0706. SR22 serials 0002 thru 0319 use 70058-002, which has a 1-inch ring. Refer to SB2X-34-05 to confirm applicability before ordering.
