Cirrus Aircraft 70063-001 Magnetometer Harness Connector Lock Kit — SR22, SB2X-34-07
On affected SR22s, the J729/P729 magnetometer harness connectors are held only by cable ties and may loosen and disconnect over time — which would cut heading information to the primary flight display.
Cirrus classes SB2X-34-07 as mandatory, within 90 days.
What the kit does: Supplies jackscrew and captive-screw connector locks.
Why it works. Jackscrew locks hold the two connectors together positively, so they can't work loose.
