Cirrus Aircraft 70077-001 Oil Breather Line Reroute Kit — SR22, SB2X-71-07
The standard oil breather installation can leave an undesirable amount of oil spray on the underside of the airplane — more so at high deck angles, with oil at or above the maximum quantity, and with oil formulations that foam.
SB2X-71-07 is optional, at the owner's option.
What the kit does: Supplies a new breather hose, a patch and grommet, clamps, rivets and hardware to reroute the breather line.
Why it works. Rerouting the breather line significantly reduces the oil blown onto the bottom of the airplane in normal operation.
Note: For SR22 serials 0002 thru 0820. Refer to SB2X-71-07 to confirm applicability before ordering.
