Cirrus Aircraft 70159-001 Hot Climate Start Fuel Check Valve Kit — SR22, SB2X-28-05
In hot conditions after extended ground operation, affected SR22s can be hard to start because of fuel line vapor lock.
SB2X-28-05 is optional, at the owner's option.
What the kit does: Supplies LH and RH fuel supply tube assemblies with built-in check valves.
Why it works. The check valves stop fuel partly draining back into the tanks, so vapor pockets can't develop in the supply lines.
Note: For SR22 serials 0002 thru 2042. Refer to SB2X-28-05 to confirm applicability before ordering.
