Cirrus Aircraft 70196-001 MLG Axle Fitting Shim Kit — SR22, SB2X-32-16
On affected SR22s, the main landing gear axle fitting may contact the brake disc of the wheel assembly.
Cirrus classes SB2X-32-16 as recommended, at the next scheduled maintenance, annual inspection or within 12 calendar months, whichever occurs first. The axle fitting is inspected and repaired if required.
What the kit does: Supplies two main landing gear shims.
Why it works. The shims add clearance between the brake disc and the axle fitting.
Note: For SR22 serials 2438 thru 2619. Refer to SB2X-32-16 to confirm applicability before ordering.
