Cirrus Aircraft 70222-001 W1010 Harness Connector Replacement Kit — SR22, SB2X-91-01
On affected SR22s, the forward fuselage wire harness W1010 may have been installed under more tension than necessary, and some of its plugs and jacks have a low-friction fit — so they can come disconnected.
Cirrus classes SB2X-91-01 as recommended, at the next scheduled maintenance, annual inspection or within 12 calendar months, whichever occurs first.
What the kit does: Supplies three pairs of improved connectors, with the crimp pins, sockets and wire markers to fit them.
Why it works. The improved connectors have a more secure fit, so they stay connected.
Note: For SR22 serials 2979, 2992, 3002, 3003, 3024 and 3026 thru 3102. Refer to SB2X-91-01 to confirm applicability before ordering.
