Description
Cirrus Aircraft 70237-001 Cirrus Landing Gear Simulator Kit — Perspective SR20/SR22, SB2X-115-01
The Cirrus Landing Gear Simulator (CLGS) lets a fixed-gear SR20 or SR22 be used in flight for retractable-gear training. It replicates the look and general function of a typical retractable gear system, and the instructor can simulate failures — incomplete extension or retraction, indicator failures, and emergency gear extension.
SB2X-115-01 is optional, at the owner's option and expense.
What the kit does: Supplies a flap switch panel with the gear simulator controls (the panel part number depends on serial), the logic control unit, a warning horn and horn switch, an instructor fault selection panel, and the wiring harness, circuit breaker, overlays and hardware.
Note: For SR20 serials 2016 and subsequent and SR22 serials 3026 and subsequent with Perspective avionics, without the Precise Flight fixed oxygen system. Later aircraft covered by SB2X-115-02 use kit 70552-001 — refer to both bulletins to confirm which applies.
Reference only — not a maintenance authority. The part numbers, effectivity and service bulletin references shown above are published as an aid to our customers and may not reflect current Cirrus data. They must not be used as the basis for installation. Mechanics must obtain and use their own current Cirrus Illustrated Parts Catalog and the current revision of any service bulletin, and must verify applicability against the aircraft serial number, service bulletin compliance and any installed STCs, before ordering or installing any part.
