Cirrus Aircraft 70240-001 FIKI Compression Fitting O-Ring Kit — SR22, SB2X-30-08
A Cirrus quality inspection found that compression fittings on some FIKI anti-ice fluid distribution lines may not have been installed correctly, which could let a line separate and cause an anti-ice system malfunction.
Cirrus classes SB2X-30-08 as mandatory, at the next scheduled maintenance, annual inspection or within 100 flight hours, whichever occurs first. Until it is done, flight into known icing is prohibited; if icing is encountered, exit the conditions immediately.
What the kit does: Supplies the O-rings used when reassembling the compression fittings, plus a threaded elbow tool.
Note: For a specific list of SR22 serials between 3409 and 3546. Refer to SB2X-30-08 for the list before ordering.
