Cirrus Aircraft 70265-001 Aft RH Baffle Gusset Kit — SR22T, SB2X-71-23
On affected SR22Ts, airflow can deflect the aft RH baffle, opening a gap between the baffle and the intercooler and losing cooling air to the cylinders — mainly the #3 cylinder.
Cirrus classes SB2X-71-23 as recommended, at the next scheduled maintenance, annual inspection or within 12 calendar months, whichever occurs first.
What the kit does: Supplies a baffle gusset with its screws, washers and nuts.
Why it works. The gusset strengthens the aft RH baffle so airflow no longer deflects it.
Note: For SR22T serials 0001 thru 0047, 0049 thru 0311, 0313 thru 0316, 0318 and 0320. Refer to SB2X-71-23 to confirm applicability before ordering.
