Cirrus Aircraft 70261-101 Iridium Console Wiring & Antenna Kit — SB2X-34-27
SB2X-34-27 installs the optional Iridium system — a Garmin GSR 56 Iridium transceiver with its antenna and wiring — on Perspective-equipped SR20, SR22 and SR22T aircraft.
The bulletin is optional, at the owner's option and expense. The Garmin system software upgrade in SB2X-42-08 is part of the installation.
What the kit does: Supplies the GPS/Iridium combination antenna and its gasket, the console wiring connectors and wire, and the precure plugs and shims for the antenna installation (Groups A and B).
Which kits do I need: The installation is ordered as a set, by group. Group A — SR20 serials 2016 thru 2126, SR22 serials 2979, 2992, 3002, 3003 and 3024 thru 3150, and SR22 3151 thru 3827 / SR22T 0001 thru 0267 without SkyWatch, all with the GMA 347 audio panel: installation kit 70261-001, console wiring kit 70261-101 and circuit breaker kit 70261-102. Group B — SR22 3151 thru 3827 and SR22T 0001 thru 0267 with SkyWatch and the GMA 347: 70261-002, 70261-101 and 70261-102. Group C — SR20 2127 and subsequent, SR22 3828 and subsequent, SR22T 0268 and subsequent with the GMA 350: 70261-001, plus 70261-102 on aircraft without XM weather. Refer to SB2X-34-27 to confirm applicability before ordering.
